Krabi is the capital of the
province Krabi and situated about 150 km southeast of Khao Lak.
There are lots of interesting places around Krabi.
Only 2 will be mentioned here:
First the beach of Ao Nang about 18 kmīs west of Krabi town. From here
you do boattrips, for example to the island Ko Poda just 1 km offshore.
Situated near Krabi is the temple
Wat Tham Sua (Tiger Cave), where over 200 monks and nunīs are living.
The valley, where part of the monks live invites for a walk through the small
forrest.
